The consultation on the London Region LSC 'Learning for Living and Working in London' strategy ran from 21st June to 31st July 2007.

The draft strategy was made available in hard copy and electronically via www.livelearnwork.org website in full and easy read versions. Responses were collected online, by email, by fax and by post.

Consultation events were run in the five sub regional LSC areas which were attended by at least 177 individuals from 109 organisations. Five network responses have been produced.

75 separate replies were received; 50 on behalf of organisations or networks, 11 from professionals working with learners; 3 from parents/carers and 1 from a parent network; 6 from individual learners and 2 from groups of learners.

This report has been complied from the responses received in writing and from the comments made at the events. Many organisations and individuals responded in detail, and it is recommended that these are looked at again when the implementation plan is written, as there are many positive and useful suggestions for consideration.
