The Mobile Learning Network (MoLeNET) is a unique collaborative approach to encouraging, supporting, expanding and promoting mobile learning, primarily in the English Further Education sector, via supported shared cost mobile learning projects.
Successful applications to the MoLeNET project have been announced and include six London learning providers:
- Coulsdon College
- Havering Sixth Form College
- Kingston College
- Lewisham College
- South Thames College
- Tower Hamlets College
These six colleges are planning to come together as a London network to support their MoLeNET activity.

The OpenLearn website makes educational resources, taken from Open University courses, freely available to anyone, anywhere in the world with access to the internet. It provides:
- online free learning material taken from Open University courses
- state-of-the-art learner support
- tools connecting learners with learners and learners with educators
- learning media and technologies on a large scale
OpenLearn does not:
- require you to become an Open University student
- grant degrees or award credits
- provide access to the services available to students registered on Open University courses

The Open University (OU) is the United Kingdom's only university dedicated to distance learning.
They have around 150,000 undergraduate and more than 30,000 postgraduate students. 10,000 of their students have disabilities. Their style of teaching is called supported open learning.
Nearly all students are studying part-time. About 70 per cent of undergraduate students are in full-time employment. More than 50,000 students are sponsored by their employers for their studies.
