Welcome to the Adult Learners' Week mini site for the London region.

From 2009 future information on Adult Learners' Week in London can be found on the NIACE website.

The aim of this mini site is to co-ordinate and promote education and training for adults, provide access to information and guidance, encourage more adults to participate and celebrate learning achievements across the London region.

Adult Learners' Week 2009 ran from 9th - 15th May. Click here to find out what events have been registered for London.

This year there is a new Adult Learners' Week forum which is a simple, easy to use place for on-line chat and sharing ideas. Log on here and talk to other organisations. All branding for Adult Learners' Week is now located on this forum site.

Thanks very much for your help and support. Remember that the Nominations for Adult Learners' Week 2010 will open in September. If you know an individual, group family or project whose remarkable learning achievements could inspire others, then nominate them for an Adult Learners' Week Award. Adult Learners' Week 2010 will run from 16th to 21st May 2009.

NIACE (The National Institute of Adult Continuing Education - England and Wales) co-ordinate the delivery of Adult Learners' Week nationally. NIACE is a non-governmental organisation working for more and different adult learners. It's formal aim is: "to promote the study and general advancement of adult continuing education."
